Now he just needs a Jewish comedian?
For the format, I think it was okay. Enough explanation to make those who are open but unexposed to these topics (how do they still exist?) to think. Baby steps.
“those who are not murderous, racist, bastards, should be lauded for that”
Get enough baby steps going and you have an inexorable march toward understanding.
I’ve been reading enough to know that differentiating direct and indirect labour costs will mean little or nothing to most commenters, since a basic understanding of cost components is lacking.
You are beautiful and deserve punishment.
“claiming that the lower price without installation wasn’t the same as the higher price with installation.”
Yes, and?
Not all labour is SG&A. Differentiating direct labour components from SG&A (indirect labour) is important if the garage is to have a firm grasp of its operations.
No quibbles about mark-ups; shops should be able to succeed, but for clarity, direct labour should be covered by the labour charges on the customer’s invoice. It’s the indirect labour of the shop that gets calculated for COGS on inventories, not direct.
As an accountant, I agree with most of your discussion points, except maybe one: when you’re discussing that $249 alternator, is that an installed price, or product only? I do believe the key phrase is “they know that most buyers that will shop a Chevy compact don’t care.”
Having just replaced a highly conservative governing party with an hopefully less-so one, I get the despair. I wish you the best.
I was there with you twenty years ago when my partner lay dying and his parents tried to shove me out of the hospital, and have joined you many times since on that ledge.
I heard the transparent joke and thought “if that had a punch line, where was it?” I didn’t even register the joke about redmayne, but I may go back and listen to the monologue again.
It kind of does...roasting her personality, or events in her life, seems fair game to me.
I’ve been reading down the comments before posting anything, and I have to say I think you nailed it, mostly.
It will happen, I believe. The old guard is dying out, if more slowly thanks to medical advances.
It’s rather clear throughout these threads that should deneatseggdrop’s child return to saying “I’m a boy” then their parents will act accordingly and support the child.
