1993 Ford Escort. First New Car, complete with smell.

My phone stays in my coat pocket, on the back seat of the car (I remove my coat to drive, most of the time.) I have a bluetooth radio set up that announces the name of the caller. I answer it if it’s about my grandmother. The rest I call back when I can stop.

I cry whenever someone pays me a compliment that I know is sincere.

That’s Peyronie’s disease for you. You’re wholly out of line.

It’s a silly question perhaps, but why the placebo pill at all? Is it just a medication compliance issue (which I can sort of understand - just) or is there some other reason?

And I always ask the pharmacist to explain the change. So should you.

If a medication looks different, an individual bloody well should be asking questions why. For a nation built on looking out for number one...

And why would Taylor lie about the hotel copying her ID?

Hmm...she had the energy to withdraw the money and shred it, so why not donate it to her favourite causes? Or, to every cause she could find?

Hm... I confess, I read the story and thought the server a dick, albeit one who also might have saved lives. I might have attributed life-saving as their primary motivation, but it doesn’t read that way, and it’s in a post about revenge...

And here I thought the reason servers and establishments had been apportioned some of this responsibility was because the clients were, you know, impaired.

And he wouldn’t have bothered to follow them out if they’d tipped.

The key to overserving in Denver appears to be “visibly intoxicated” - were I drinking just two cheap margs each hour, I wouldn’t be visibly drunk, nor would most of my friends. (In other words, there’s no reason for the server to call a halt.)
