Yup. At J.Crew I need a 2 in sleeveless tops, am usually a 4 in blouses and in dresses unless they have narrowly cut arms (I have very muscular arms), a 4 or 6 in pants, and an 8 in suit jackets. Sizes and scales are useless measures.

Numbers on tags are bullshit anyway. I can wear between a size 2 to an 8 at the same store depending on what I am buying, how it’s cut, etc. Between brands I can be anywhere from a 2 to a 10 (fucking Rachel Zoe...).
You can’t really judge it based on what you see on camera. Unless you’re standing right next to the person, you have no idea how their body stacks up to yours.
