I think it’s more how one can act when one is already this stupidly rich.  He doesn’t have to care as long as the board and his investors don’t MAKE him care.  He’s going to be rich whether people buy his cars or not.  Maybe not as rich as he is today, but rich enough not to give a shit.

It would be hilarious if the Right started driving EVs to own the Left.  Man, I would feel so owned!

If I understand Elon’s 4D chess correctly (and that’s unlikely, since I’m not nearly as smart as he is), first he will first tell them “GFY”, then sue them for not buying his cars? This is how one becomes a trillionaire?

My thoughts as an owner:

TTesla fan boys delusion at work.

Apparently there is manual access, but you have to get into the wheel well and remove some plastic pieces covering it.

I know this sort of real-world stuff is difficult for you, but it’s possible she didn’t have it because she didn’t have her wallet because her wallet is in her purse and she doesn’t expect the car to lock itself and refuse to open.

Every car: electric, hybrid, or ICE, should be legally required to always have at least one 100% mechanical lock and door mechanism.

This should be formally investigated, not just because of the car unexplainably locking and trapping the child inside, but also because the video footage has mysteriously gone missing. Didn’t Tesla get in trouble recently for employees watching and sharing customer videos without permission?

Toyota replaced the frames of tens of thousands of their trucks due to rot. It was a massive recall. I would be terrified of a dealer mechanic doing this to my vehicle, though I suppose after they have done a bunch they get pretty good at it. I sure wouldn’t want to be first.

I’d say that’s more concerning because it means that Boeing failed to get not just one thruster type to work, but two.

In addition to other comments, it should also be noted that one of the reasons why the SpaceX award was smaller than the Boeing one SpaceX started with a sort of existing prototype, the Cargo Dragon. This would simplify their development process. Boeing was starting entirely from scratch with Starliner.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. A company that was lauded as the pinnacle of American engineering is now trying to play catchup to SpaceX, a company it scoffed at when NASA awarded it a contract along with Boing back in 2014.

Guess the Starliner Door Guy didn’t get a vacation.

At least the door stayed attached so Boeing is getting better.

Right, those same companies that pay for ads.

Well, in Telsa’s defense they didn’t have a PR department to release the info that they no longer have a PR department.

So are you saying that Jalopnik should NOT write about a brand new car’s roof flying off, or are you saying they shouldn’t ask the manufacturer for a comment?

When Jalopnik writes an article about a Ford’s roof blowing off on the way out of the dealer, I’m sure they’ll reach out to Ford for comment as well.

Had to scroll down a few pages (WHY CAN’T ALL THE COMMENTS OPEN WITH ONE CLICK??) to see this as I had intended to post same.
