1st: I don’t think it has as much to do with the UAW. It’s a numbers game here, which is why so many companies are doing it.
OTOH as a Southerner who knows people working in some of those plants they are the closest thing to sweat shops in the US you’ll ever see. Just work the people to the bone, wear them out and find more cheap labor when they quit.
Of course the new Ford factory won’t be unionized: Its in Tennessee, my home state, which has a shit ton of factories making parts, steel and cars and why? Because the state government seems hell-bent on forever keeping out unions. Even when VW wanted to have a union at the Chattanooga VW plant the government got…
Would be much better then the UAW for everyone involved.
“After the automobile wars of the 2020s, now all vehicles are Trucks”
Shouldn’t one of the electrical unions organize these battery factories and EV vehicles ??
No, fly him to Minneapolis and have him drive to Portland or Seattle.
Just tell him to drive from NYC to Pittsburgh; that’s usually enough.
Welcome. Some of us don’t understand hype of pickups either. I’m convinced that ever time I start my car an army of pickups magically appear in the passing lane of every highway with cruise control set to 65mph and no intention of ever getting over.
Please use the metric system. We’re gonna switch when Gen Z takes over.
Thats a pretty "cool" bit of motorcycle knowledge there. I'll see myself out now....
higher end throttle locks will get turned off when you hit the front brake, consider looking into that for your cruise control. If your still leery about them look into a cramp buster let’s you still control the throttle but you can keep an open hand so your not gripping the throttle 100% of the time.
Other than the 86, I can’t really think of any Toyota product that looks good these days.
Welp, now I’m off to Youtube to watch all the Lonely Island videos. Thanks for ruining my day.
Overall, the new Tundra is definitely a product of modern truck design, with all the absurdity and caricature that entails
Yes, you are correct - the new Tundra very much is a design breakdown.
Now truck buyers don’t need aftermarket parts shine a lightbar directly into my back window at night. Thank you Toyota.
Every time I see anew angle of this truck:
duh
