This thing hits the sweet spot for me. When I make the move to EV this will be it. The styling alone had me. I love the retro future vibes!

What are the chances this ends up like the PT Cruiser?
I like that youre looking on the bright side. This vehicle is aimed directly at ppl like me. I just hope it A: comes out in this country and B: sometime this decade
I could see one of these for sale in the dealership and still not believe they’re they’re actually making it. They've teased it for so long and in so many different forms that it will forever be vaporware to me even when I see them driving around on the open road. I think I was looking at concepts for this thing 20…
This is a good thing. I am sure there will be complaints about range but really anyone going anyplace in a VW camper never got anyplace quickly anyway. If you need to stop to recharge before you got to the campground no worries. This will not be a backcountry overlander and will not try to be.
F1 needs a Max. Otherwise we get bland little robots who’ve been molded into exactly what F1 wants them to be, such as Ocon, Gio, Mick, Botas, LeClerc, Botas, etc. All great drivers no doubt, but with personalities and risk tolerance equal to a wet paper towel.
Tucks his ears into flatbrim hats.
Gotta respect the landlords driveway!
George needs a respirator. This shit might be non-toxic but breathing in atomised oil - of any type - will mess up your lungs.
My car has a device known as a “Rear Main Seal” that coats the undercarriage with a rust proofing substance while I’m driving.
lol, OSHA violations all over. That dude should be using a respirator. Wild..
I chose to park in my backyard, since Krown says I should expect the fluid to drip for a couple of days, and I don’t want to sully my landlord’s driveway.
Anyone else amazed that they spray this without a respirator, or at the very least, a dust mask?
I don’t know the risks of Krown inhalation or contact, but the complete lack of safety gear made me itchy all over.
There are factory topper options already, and not just the tonneau covers.
A bed camper would be....interesting...but you’d likely bump into load limits pretty fast.
“The old standby Honda Ridgeline is newly updated.”
Is there anything on the market that gets the same MPG with truck like capabilities? I know there are similar CUVs or bigger trucks to haul everyone’s 2nd home around, but how many get 40+ mpg city with MSRP even close to $26k while still having that much trunk & people space?
It’s funny you say that. I want a Maverick as an alternative to a Civic - essentially i see the Maverick as a sedan with a more flexible trunk (when equipped with a cover). People comparing it to a TRUCK are missing the appeal to a lot of buyers.
I just paid off my old Honda but I’d really love to have a cheap hybrid or a small truck, I was planning on waiting till at least next year anyway to get the Maverick but deep down I’m really hoping that Honda or Toyota announce a similarly priced competitor by then so that I won’t have to deal with the Ford quality…
I’ll give you a proverbial hand:
