Drowning Mona (2000)

Now playing

The first one that popped to mind: The 2CV from the criminally underrated Bond film “For Your Eyes Only.”

Sam Raimi’s Delta 88 has been in more movies than some A-list actors. It’s always fun to keep an eye out for it in his films.

This one is very easy... the two-tone 1959 Nash Metropolitan 1500 hardtop coupe from 1988's cult-classic “UHF”. Although, it appears to be in near perfect condition, which you would not expect as it is owned by the lovable-loser of a always-down-on-his-luck protagonist, and is a stark contrast to say The Dude’s ‘73

The Volga taxi from the Bourne Supremacy. 14-speed gear shifts in F&F got nothing on the number of licks this sumbich took while still maintaining forward momentum. And it beat a G-wagen. Solid work.

I feel like we don’t spend nearly enough time talking about Burt Reynolds’ Citroën SM in The Longest Yard.

Its a shame that people who don’t like EVs can’t recognize the value of all that torque to help them move their goalposts all the time.

This EV won’t work for me because the commute to my job is 20 miles each way and once I get there they don’t give me enough money to buy this car.

It’s a pretty good example of how the new post-’08 normal of forcing career positions into part time and hoping they don’t complain was going to backfire in a big way.

Honestly I had hoped that people would just stage a massive general strike to make the issue less ambiguous and thus shut down any opposing arguments.

Yup. Good buddy of mine was a high end chef, he has completely refactored his career away from the service industry, he had no choice. The benefits helped cover the transition, but them being there or not are not a factor in his decision to get out.

I wonder how many jobs like this would be filled if we had Universal Healthcare.

Current studies suggest that the expended unemployment benefits have a minor effect on bad job vacancies. Folks have had a year and a half to figure their shit out and I’d bet that bad jobs are still gonna have problems hiring when everyone is able to work again (lololol like that will ever happen given the current

no adults on the bus. Lord of the flies time.

This has been slowly happening for the past few years where I live. Bus drivers are quitting for a number of reasons, but based on talking to my cousin who was a bus driver, the bus supervisors here are assholes. She quit because her mom ended up in the hospital and they wouldn’t let her take emergency time off to go

This is hopefully the correct answer

Biden is forcing all car makers to make a new electric TransAm and ushering in a new era of Bitchin' Rides?

Men At Work US tour announcement.

YES!!!!

That is gorgeous. I have to continually remind myself that I love all the bikes in my garage and need to ride them more, not add another to dilute the ride time.

Remember When Subaru produced this gem of a concept, but then said “lets make the story of the ugly duckling, but Benjamin button it”?
