Sounds like great news.
Sounds like great news.
They tend to weed “smart” people out during the examination process.
A spokesklansman for the department said “you ain’t supposed to get caught doing what we’re all doing.”
Phoenix PD posted that they had 60 people show up to take their quarterly exam/physical fitness test. This is a department with +/- 2000 vacancies. Safe to say they are hiring anyone who shows up.
Im going to assume you don’t know any cops because the requirements have never been high.
You ain’t wrong:
Go figure, my lighthearted joke has a real world example...
There was a case many years ago where a guy was rejected from the academy for being too smart. He sued the department, and I think the ruling was that smart people are not a protected class, so he lost.
I think a lot of cops just start thinking that they are protected by the big blue wall and allowed to do anything. A guy I used to work with became a cop. He was a pretty smart guy, though self absorbed (which I do think is something they look for). He’s no longer a cop because he was doing stupid shit all the time…
Saying Spraying the quiet part loud.
Why aren’t we talking about where these monsoons are coming from????
Trump in 2014: “I’m gonna build a 2,000 mile long, 500 foot tall, 50 foot thick concrete wall with armed guards, a moat, and laser guns. It will only cost $3 billion, and it will be built in two years.”
In theory, an “anti-gravity” device could work by counteracting/nullifying/eliminating the gauge particle that mediate gravitational attraction - the graviton - for a single object or area, without affecting other objects.
Honestly, missing all of those features is a bonus to me. Instead of having to figure out how to turn them off in the infotainment settings I can just NOT have them in the first place? Fuck yeah!
In the age of SUVs and crossovers, more rear wheel drive sportscars can never be a bad thing.
The Z will be significantly heavier and more expensive. Not really a reasonable comparison. However, even if I had a comfortable amount of cash to throw at either of these, I’d choose the 86. High-revs from a responsive NA engine in a lighter car is a rarity, especially for under $30k.
As a fellow ass-appreciator, I couldn’t agree more. Could have been easy to screw it up but they did a perfect job integrating those tail lights.
One thing to mention:
A lot of commenters on here are going to be like “well what did you expect form these people?” and there’s something there but think about it this way: if not one points out that it’s fucked up to venerate toys built by fascists to congratulate other fascists on how fascist they are, these people will just keep doing…
