My 9th Grade Earth Science Teacher loved hers. She told the story in class one day of driving home drunk and ran it into a guardrail and it didn’t even dint the car. Never before had someone admit they had driven drunk, yet alone, a teacher. I guess there is a lesson in there?

Saturn died YEARS before the brand was killed off. GM more or less ruined what had been a decent and unique car. I remember when Saturn first launched. They were pretty cool looking and definetely not “American” looking.

And they were actually good cars. One of my high school teachers had one. She put over 250,000

Bring back inexpensive cars!

It’s not a “right now” issue so much as a culmination of regulation.

I’ll take “things a bot could post once a week, and nobody would realize it was a bot” for 100, Alex.

All these ridiculous formulas and regulations lead to perverse incentives like this, because no matter what side of the ocean you’re on, politicians are afraid of the words “carbon tax” which would accomplish the same thing both more efficiently and with more choice for consumers.

1st gear: I am not shocked that there are unintended consequences to a government regulation that was written by people who do not understand what they seek to regulate.

I really, really dig the slammed SUV look.

The later Dune books actually kind of deconstruct the white savior aspects IIRC with Paul becoming a tyrant.

If Josh Brolin doesn’t scream “ATOMICS!” during the final battle I’ll be forced to give this movie zero out of 10 Gom Jabbars.

Seek help.

ProTip for HD sellers. If you have working mufflers on your bike, especially factory ones, post that in the listing.

Its got to attract a better clientelle than Facebook Marketplace where 90% of the inquiries for my BMW 850 are is it available? And then nothing.

The Motor Company is pushing younger riders into pre-owned models in an effort to grab their attention for life.”

I actually sort of prefer it without the trim, maybe with a big dent in the taillight and a bit of missing trim on the side...

Shouldn’t it be a feather pattern then?

I read Chuck’s input more as a “please leave me out of this” kind of take.

I’ve never leased a car.  It would seem to me that banking on somehow making money on your lease at the end of your lease term is a risky proposition and puts you at the mercy of the people who would rather that they make money at your expense.
