I really missed my calling in life
This makes sense. We just keep refining things until we reach singularity. There will someday be the best automobile ever made and it will look like nothing and everything.
I feel like everyone I know who became teachers were the absolute wildest people I knew in college, so this probably checks out.
Man, that header image. So many cars right now, even if you slap a good color on them, are just terribly boring to lay your eyes upon.
Have most cars always been boring and I’m just being a curmudgeon? Or are we really in an automotive design wasteland right now?
Right. It’s unique, but also, who cares.
I’m not a great stick driver to begin with, so I wasn’t going to be hurried in a 91 year old car. I stopped completely every time lol
Neutral:
I’m pretty good! I had a bit of a life-affirming experience yesterday when I dropped in on a buddy of mine I haven’t seen in years and he let me take his family’s survivor ‘30 Chevy Special Sedan out for a drive. I’ve never driven a car that old, much less one with a non-syncro transmission and manual brakes.…
Outstanding
I’m so tired
The whole rotary thing just seemed quixotic from day one.
“who said America couldn't achieve a stable economy?" is a helluva fuckin line for a commerical.
I’ll be interested to see the answers here. There’s very little in the new car market in the US that I think is worth getting very excited about, much less calling underrated. Maybe the turbo-4 Camaro? Is the Mazda3 underrated? Maybe underappreciated, but I think the car community looks fondly on it.
Idk. I wish we…
MPD probably upset he spent a whole police cruiser to kill an innocent instead of just using his gun.
The hatchback still isn’t hatchbacky enough.
This kind of Malaise Era swag is usually right in my wheelhouse, but this morning I’m finding myself entirely uninterested in this thing.
Even by malaise standards it’s boring as hell. It’s neither horrible enough or opulent enough. It’s sensible. I hate it.
Not enough beefcake
NOW we’re cooking with gas!
I have always argued that it’s a fuselage era Chrysler Newport sedan
This 1000%.
