Yup, I mean, just look at it. It's a first gen Ford Focus all day long.

Now do the Cougar

I mean, I’m a millennial jalop who likes crappy cars from the 70s and even I want this electric future. Late model ICE cars have become boring for me so I’m ready for something new. I’m ready for the instant power, the flat torque, the low maintenance, the interior space, the ability to go from efficiency to tire

I think EVs are going to be just fine. That market is about providing the right vehicles and the right use situations to get people to buy, and the major brands like VW are putting the honest work in.

I commented on the electric truck article with the same general idea: we’re only a few years away from the

I remember thinking the 500 was super cool when it was going to be launched here. Then I sat in one at an auto show and was completely underwhelmed by the interior and immediately lost interest.

Good luck with law school!

We’re so close to the E L E C T R I C F U T U R E. Electric trucks and induction charging are going to completely change the game in the next few years.

I think firm seats can be perfectly fine as long as the shape is correct. I sit in a pretty firm chair at work all day and prefer it to the super padded computer chairs everyone else uses, but I think it has more to do with the shape of the chair than anything else.

You got it. The license plate says Sao Paolo.

I had a ‘15 TDI S that I gave back after a year and half because Dieselgate. The butt cushions were probably a little hard but I liked the shape of the seat enough that I probably got used to it. The lumbar could be dialed all the way back and that was key. I have a long torso compared to my height (I’m 6'2" but with

It’s funny, one of my biggest gripes with pretty much every new car I sit in is the uncomfortable seats. Too much bolstering, too aggressive lumbar even when dialed all the way back. I can kinda get comfortable in my Impala. My Golf actually had great seats. But I think fondly of the seats in my old B-Bodies.

The whole “build a bunch of inventory and then put a bunch of cash on the hood to move it“ thing didn’t really start until Chrysler did it in the 70s and it nearly sunk them (hence the government bailout). Even then, cars definitely used to be ordered more than bought off the lot. My parents always ordered their cars.

So much room for activities!

Oh yeah, I’m absolutely ignoring the price requirement in order to recommend something unique lol

This is what I keep thinking of. Who doesn't want to go ludicrous speed in a life-size RC car? I'll be cackling like a maniac while my brain oozes out my ears.

I, for one, welcome our screaming electric future.

I guess the question I would ask is: how well does Tesla handle all of its problems in order to keep the customer satisfied with the product?
