I’m not sure how this works in other countries, but I had an elementary school teacher who had anger management issues and was verbally abusive. He also pushed me into a brick wall (intentional) and I hit the base of my skull hard (unintentional). It was the 1980s so the school did nothing aside from a write up here…
Yeah, as someone who has worn mega-platforms at clubs and such, my first thought was “not unless you enjoy twisting your ankle and eating shit on the way to work”.
Some of y’all have never met an old lady who’s had to get rods in her toes to correct damage from years of wearing heels and it shows.
Buress’ joke was that it was weird that everyone pretended Cosby wasn’t a rapist because the allegations were so well known.
It was technically a technicality. He wasn’t released because he was innocent (we know that, he admitted to it), he was released over procedural stuff. Which is what a fucking technicality is. He’s still a fucking admitted rapist.
Nobody knew Cosby was a rapist before 2014?
Poor people of color get thrown in prison ALL THE TIME, and the government absolutely lies to put them there.
He's a convicted rapist who got out on technicality, so go fuck yourself you piece of shit.
...and all of that has nothing to do with whether he was guilty or innocent of the charges, which is why it’s called a ‘technicality.’ He was ‘technically’ not guilty, not ‘actually’ not guilty.
While this is accurate, he admitted, under oath, to the underlying conduct (drugging and raping women).
What’s REALLY effed up is that Greg Street still has pics of this up on Twitter.
He was convicted, and it was overruled for a reason that had nothing to do with his guilt. It was a technicality.
I want to thank Kotaku and all the other sites that are unrelenting in their coverage of this issue. With the amount of information you’ve given the public, I really think something is going to change this time.
This went wrong when the teacher felt he needed to bring his own person Nazi flag to school
They probably do. Interestingly California passed a law a couple years ago where the state does not need active complaints in order to investigate a corporation for sexual harassment. So even if they didn’t have it at the time they filed the lawsuit, they certainly do now.
“allegedly posing”
How can it be ALLEGEDLY when it’s RIGHT THERE IN THE PICTURE?! This is clearly not photoshopped...
Guys...I don’t want to cause a panic here, but I’m *starting* to think gaming has a male toxicity problem...
[sic] is a notation of when a misspelling is intentional, almost always used when quoting something. In this case, it’s a quote from the lawsuit.
Immediately when I saw the thumbnail image I straight up almost threw my phone in the air. It’s fucked up as a joke and even more so in the goddamn context.
