She looks the same here as she does in Roman Holiday, which was filmed three years later. Makes sense she would have a rounder face in her early 20s and get leaner as she aged. The actresses like Ann Miller who had work done in that era did not age as well.

Yeah, I think the fact that they changed the gender, race AND sexuality of the main character just made the show feel like it was trying too hard.

She was okay.  She’s come a long way in her acting but I still can’t help that her career has gotten big pushes due to whom her parents are.

I feel like the show was doomed from the start* based on a book and a movie that already had a built in fan base and then you flip it on its head by making the main character the opposite of the book/movie? This is such a repeat of the Rosie O’Donnell show days. Anyone that tries to dub themselves the Queen of Nice, Be Kind, etc., is always going to fall from grace because they are people just like all of us.
