Someone at my work told me I “had” to see the movie White Christmas, and I finally just said fine, I’ll borrow it from you. So they brought me a VHS and I told them I had no way to watch it, and they couldn’t believe it. I mean, I barely even use my DVD player anymore. Anyway, I was happy I could skip the whole,

I saw it yesterday and loved it so much. In this world of awfulness, this story was a joy (with clever dialogue and great performances to boot). I cried too - as a gay woman, it really made me wish I had had movies like this when I was in high school. But I’m also so glad that today’s teens increasingly do. I had just

I binged the entire series in a day when I was sick as a dog on the couch, and I cried like a baby watching most episodes. But like, happy-crying. I loved it so much. I’m a woman, but I found myself identifying with most of the subjects in one way or another. I really hope they do more episodes, and soon. It is a joy

Weird - in this shot it definitely looks like an attached house, but I’ve never thought of it that way when watching the show. I found a screenshot from the show, and it looks like there are not garages on the right side? Is it possible they use trickery to make it look like one big house on the show?

We had a cat once who got his head stuck in a tube of wrapping paper (I don’t know how - it seemed to small, but he managed). He shredded my poor mom’s arms with his claws before we thought to wrap him in a blanket while we carefully cut the tube off of his head. He was tough, and would not be messed with - he

Also, fingerprints. Everywhere.

I’m reading the novel right now, and the writing is so evocative; it feels very intimate. I can’t wait to see the film; the leads seem perfectly cast from what I can tell.

His and hers cloooosets!

Trump needs to get off his ass and fly down to Virginia asap and tell his nationalist minions to disassemble immediately. Anything less is tolerance of their actions. That bullshit vague tweet is quite literally the very least he could do.

I know, it’s crazy. This quote really got to me:

Exactly. I can’t fathom how poor white Americans can look at someone who thinks the White House is a dump and spends millions of their tax dollars flying to gold-encrusted golf clubs every weekend as a man of the people.

Pretty sure that 45's administration would be better off with Pickle as the new Communications Director - he’d garner sympathy from the press and the public, and he’d definitely be much better at giving an interview than the current guy.

He is VERY good in this (though his character is awful at times - most of the time, really).

I am normally not one to comment negatively about someone’s appearance at all, but I have to ask - is that picture doctored or is that 100% for real?

Agreed. And I don’t care if secretly they disagree with him or find him appalling or whatever. If they do, that’s almost worse - they’re choosing money and status over the good of the literal world.

Don’t forget Crazy Ex Girlfriend! I think he’s a regular now.

For a second I thought the header image was Parker Posey in House of Yes, and now I want to go home immediately, buy smokes on the way, and watch that movie with a glass or three of prosecco. It’s been way too long since I’ve seen it.

I’ve been loving this season too, especially because it’s been building to an end. Knowing that it was almost over made watching it so much fun. I mean, the show is no ‘peak tv’, but it’s hella entertaining.

I’m still kind of holding out hope that he will be. I really would love to see the show shatter the illusion that a teacher dating a high school student is ever swoony or romantic. There are so many fans of the show (young fans) who love them so much, and I’d love the show to be like, ‘BAM. He’s evil, he’s always been

Agree, Dan is my favourite part of DPT - there’s one Sklar that I find more annoying, and I literally don’t know which one it is. But they are so easily distracted by bits and tangents; they really need Dan to keep the order. He’s also super funny.
