I just discovered Hot Ones a couple weeks ago and it’s delightful! Nick Kroll’s episode was awful/hilarious. He was really feeling that burn, man. I kept expecting him to vom.

I really like Dan Van Kirk too - have you heard his new podcast with Randy and Jason Sklar? I resisted it for a while because I tried to like their previous one but it was just too bro-ey and sports oriented. But this one is actually really entertaining, about ‘Florida Man’-style news stories (it’s called Dumb People

The first time I became aware of him was seeing him open for Patton Oswalt in Toronto maybe around 8-10 years ago, and he was incredibly funny. He killed. But you’re right, he can be totally obnoxious (I used to listen to Doug Loves Movies pretty regularly and he could never share attention on that show). And omg, I

I’ll check out Pretty Girls - I love thrillers, especially in the summer. I have two on my reading list too (haven’t read them yet so I can’t speak to the quality, but the synopses have me very excited):

I have so much love for Fred Savage. Like, he makes me giddy, and I can’t explain it. I’m super gay, but I’m pretty sure I have had a full-on crush on him since 1988.

Between this show, GLOW and Friends From College, I am all about Nexflix for the next couple of months. (Oh, with the exception of Playing House, which is also starting tomorrow - can’t wait for more Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham).

So worth checking out - some find it a bit too absurd (it is that), but if it’s your thing, you will LOVE IT. You will also quote it in casual conversation for the rest of your life, so be prepared for that as well.

I loved that movie so much - like, I decided I was going to change my whole approach to life after I saw it and take charge like Sue Ellen and live life like a boss (I was 13). That lasted about two days, but my love for the movie endures.

Agreed that this is the best reboot of a series (I guess in this case, movie) ever - I just re-watched First Day of Camp, and loved it more the second time. I am so excited to see John Early back in 10 Years Later - is there anything that he doesn’t make infinitely better with his mere presence? Plus Adam Scott,

I do not understand the need to use inspirational quotes in ANY email signatures, let along work emails. I have someone at my office who has one about being kind, and like, it’s a nice sentiment and all, but to me you may as well have a MySpace-style dancing teddy bear with glitter blinging all over it.

I have an irrational hatred of Times New Roman, and refuse to use it, but would never drag someone else for doing so. I like clean lines, so I always default to Arial in my work correspondence and documents. If that communicates to someone that I am some type of undercover Dexter outside of work hours, so be it.

I must rant at least once a month about how I wish I went into fashion design (my total lack of artistic ability had something to do with it). But what I wouldn’t give to design a plus collection of clothing that I would actually want to wear. Not everyone wants to dress like Kathy from HR, you know? Some of us like

Man, from the header pic I totally thought the guy was Tom from Please Like Me (unlikely on a Brazilian show, I know, but it looks SO MUCH LIKE HIM). I am desperate for more content with that cast, so now my hopes are dashed. This show will now always be the ‘Show Without Tom’.

I can’t believe I’ve never read Wifey - I’ve read literally every other Blume book, many more than once. I think probably Wifey came out when I was too young for it and then I just never got around to reading it. Also, as someone who loves 80's trash, I voted for Hollywood Wives and Lace. They sound delish - I just

Lol, I was never that into Dylan other than coveting his vintage Porsche, but I thought he aged pretty well? Maybe I had really low expectations. Of all the parents so far, I’ve been obsessed with Madchen Amick as Mrs. Cooper. Love the character, and she is so beautiful. She makes me want to watch Twin Peaks. I was

Plus, hello, Molly effing Ringwald!!! My teen self is dying that Dylan McKay is married to Claire/Andie/Samantha in this universe.

He is on the verge of becoming the Dawson of Riverdale. Which, I guess he already is, but as annoying as I find him, I can’t quite sink him down to Dawson levels of suckage just yet. The second he starts mansplaining everything to Betty and Veronica though...the crown will be his.

FWIW I read a review the other day that said that this is the role she was meant to play, and that she’s fantastic in it, so I’m hopeful.

He reminds me of Francis from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.

I grew up about an hour from the NY border and still live in Toronto, and we used to go cross-border shopping at least three or four times a year. We had to hit Target, Wegmans (Stouffer’s French Bread Pizza, why aren’t you in Canada??), Walden Galleria and the outlet mall on Military Road. But since the election I’ve
