If someone put a spy cam in my hotel room it would be the most boring webcam feed ever. (Unless you’re really into watching a guy wandering around the room trying to figure out which light switch turns on which light, giving up, and falling asleep with the lights on with a $6 can of pringles in their hand and crumbs

There are a few flaws with this argument that stand out to me (aside from the broad flaw, which is that this is more of a rant that leans on colorful turns of phrase to persuade people than an argument that relies on specific points and evidence that backs those points up).

Or maybe his future will involve going online to write insults of children in the comments section of news stories. That’d be so much cooler, right?

I mean maybe it’s just me, but it’s weird how many of these comments are just insults about this... child.

Lol not sure about that Whitney Webb story you linked to. You’re now in the proud company of RT, Sputnik News, and InfoWars in pushing that whole narrative...

How is this not the clearest example of workplace sexual harrassment in the history of workplaces? On the one hand you have the most powerful man in the world, and on the other a 22 year old intern who works for him. In what universe is that okay?

I feel like this advice is pretty good for the problem of “my husband plays video games too much” and pretty awful for the writer’s actual problem, which is, “my husband doesn’t want to have sex with me.”

She’s not wrong, though, about why women and girls are underrepresented in tech. There *aren’t* enough girls in the educational pipeline. I think it is a self-fulfilling cycle where the industry is male-dominated, so women don’t enter it, so the women who do tend to have a not great experience, which leads more women

If you do want to carry it on your person, just wear a coat and put it in the coat pocket. That way you can take off the coat to put it through the metal detector, but put it back on right after—reducing the amount of time that you don’t have the ring on your person to the 30 seconds or so when your coat is going

True though her total comp, if you include bonuses and stock and whatnot, is now probably in the realm of $300K annually... tough to make a stink about being hired at the wrong level at this point.

I have a friend (a woman) who is a Google engineer who had this exact thing happen to her. She had a masters degree in CS and several years of relevant professional programming experience, but was hired at essentially the entry level band. Like the women in this lawsuit, she went to HR to find out why and they very

If it were Dodgers/Yanks it would be literally the #1 and #2 payrolls. Though, the Yankees payroll is a little deceptively high since they’re still paying for a bunch of players (including A-Rod!) who are not on the roster. Nonetheless, the only way to prevent that is to continue to increase profit sharing and luxury

Judge would probably have made it to 2B, let’s be honest. The ump made the right call. And fuck that fan for interfering.

Oh come on. Sanchez becomes a heel? What about Cabrera?
