I swear, all the SoDoSoPas of the world were all modeled after Emeryville, CA and specifically its Bay Street shopping center (with living spaces), which opened around 2002-2003 I think. I've heard the generic modern urban loft design that's so ubiquitous is even referred to as the "Emeryville Classic".

I like think they've taken note of the changes to TV over the years and are reinvigorated with new ways to tell new stories they have.

And 24 was great because Bush was in the white house and made Season 5 not seem totally implausible.
