Being up 5 is pointless if the opponent scores a TD. If you have a 6 point lead, you force them to go for the end zone and extra points are no longer gimme shots.

The OG R32. 2004. It is the absolute bane of my existence but I cannot separate myself from it.

It’s not THAT bad, but it also takes about a week and a half for the ole 2.0 to get up to those speeds so it isn’t a normal occurrence. I’ll say it isn’t nearly as confidence inspiring as tossing it around a 50-60 MPH autocross course.

Not terrible as the suspension setup is pretty dialed in, but I definitely made sure to scrub a lot of speed before even considering making a turn. It does get a little floaty past 85 or so, though.

Going very fast in very old cars is quite the experience. I have eclipsed 100 in a ‘74 914 on track and it is almost as unsettling as doing the same on a motorcycle.
