I used to feel the same way, but "silly little dongle" is a lot faster than Bluetooth, which tends to have a miserable lag in comparison. Bluetooth-powered mice also tend to be battery-hungry.

I just wish the nicer mice like the 510 were available as bluetooth. I don't want that silly little dongle on my laptop, and logitech will not remove all their patents on their dongle so that laptop makers can put that technology on the motherboard.
