Actually, it might be.

Will you settle with the Toyota Yaris S with the same anemic engine and automatic transmission it normally has, but now with a riveted on lower lip and light package to remind you of what you can’t have?
I agree. If you’re gonna go through all the effort to make something this awesome, why in gods name would you strap this to a land rover when the toyota landcruiser exists? I didn’t build my house on top of a minefield. Same rule applies for campers.
5-gallon grey water (the aforementioned deuce-dropping) container
One thing I noticed once I saw a few of these in person is that they are incredibly ugly.
Does anyone else find a raised BRZ STI, an RS4 Allroad, or a modern 911 Safari more attractive than lower, sportier prospects? Even if theyr’e not ready for heavy duty off roading, I imagine they’d be easier to live with than something that makes potholes more fear inducing than they already are.
“Running costs and maintenance won’t make up for the upfront purchase cost over any reasonable time frame.”
The Cooper S starts at $27,400. The Cooper SE starts at $30,100 (including destination) before rebates. “State and federal EV tax credits can take a huge chunk out of that, getting the electric Mini down as low…
Oh noes someone wrote an article about a car you don’t like.
Emissions, running costs, maintenance, NVH, never having to stop at the gas station, one-pedal driving, etc.

My only real complaint is that the Civic Hatchback Sport 6MT goes for under $23K and is only marginally slower than the SI. Plus you can get the hatch and much better fuel economy. I suspect that the SI does have a better suspension setup for aggressive driving, but I’m not sure it would be worth stepping into the SI.
A transit bus will only weigh 30-40k lbs. 80k would be a fully loaded semi truck. You ideally also get rid of a bunch of cars when you have more buses.
All good points, but 7miles is pretty much a perfect bike ride.
I disagree. They could do an above ground lightrail. If areas were really wanting to commit to rail then they would do something bold. Here in Sacramento we have lightrail that goes to a couple of useful places and then they argue about where else it should go due to construction costs. My argument has always been if…
I’m not a big fan of this trio. They are acting far too much like frat boys for my taste. At least that’s how it seemed in the first 3 episodes of last season before I stopped watching because I couldn’t stand the constant ‘banter’ and just smacking each other for no reason. Did the later episodes improve on that?
That’s Lorem Ipsum.
You need to get out more. In Europe I traveled between countries almost exclusively by train and it was frustratingly simple.
