You can do a Sonos surround system for $1,300 If you use the $100 Ikea Sonos speakers for surrounds. Now, if Sonos would release a $400 sub, that would be great / less ridiculous.

Loved my old 1991 Camry LE. This is a fantastic deal, but I would be very worried about driving around in a car with 20 year old safety characteristics amid a sea of modern SUVs.

I have a friend who just started working there, so he’s obviously biased, but he’s been a higher up in interiors for a major supplier for a long time and said the Rivian interiors are excellent. He oversaw interior quality for a wide range of automakers including BMW. The vast majority of the folks that work at Rivian

I wish someone made a camper van that just had seats for 4+ and slept 4+. I don’t need a damn sink, stove, and refrigerator in my car. Just a place to sleep when camping that isn’t a tent.

I want one in passenger van spec.

Too much for a non-Ecoboost Flex of this vintage and mileage. CP.

Anything’s doable! Personally, after a childhood of lots of international travel where we would spend 1-3 days in a place and move on, I prefer spending more time in each place. I might suggest, depending on which city it is cheapest for you to fly into, 4 or 5 days in Kyoto, 4 or 5 days in Tokyo, with the skiing in

You won’t regret it! Having been 3 times now for a total of about 2 months, my completely unsolicited advice is to take it slow. Maybe a week in Tokyo and a week in Kyoto.

Perhaps the melting of the ice caps will hasten the end of this incredible selfishness.

Sounds like rapid and frequent bus service with dedicated lanes would work well. No one ever talks about the cost to build and maintain roads.

I had a 2002 LC with 33" tires. This will be an absolute pig in terms of acceleration and I’m curious how long those 33's have been on there in terms of how many more miles this vehicle actually has on it. CP

Pickle juice is good you monsters.

Glad they jacked it up so it’ll be a more efficient death machine in the Whole Foods parking lot.

Cheaper e-bikes generally use hub motors while the pricier ones usually opt for mid-drive motors. Mid-drives have more torque so they are better in hilly applications, while hub motors are generally better for top speed. I have a Bafang BBSHD mid-drive on one of my bikes and a generic hub motor on the other.

Riding your bike more has the excellent side effect of being way more fun than being trapped in urban traffic.

The Chevy Traverse says no. The roughly 8000 “SUVs” they sell are all shades of beige.

Malaise Era 2.0

Imagine caring about brand dilution if you’re just a person that buys cars. I guess a lifetime of watching car advertisements really does work to forge totally delusional bonds between customers and brands. Scary really.

6'5" guy here and you’re right. I would LOVE to be 6'1". What is shopping for clothes in a store like?

They may have been able to keep more of these people if their tiny suvs didn’t suck so bad.
