one thing that never depreciates really is land, "they stopped making it a while ago". Another plus is the low upkeep! Its a great way to make the leap from renter to owner.

I disagree. Im guessing EA+mythic had a goal to release an updated DK, that is a freemium game, and works on a tablet. they did just that.
