Yes, it has to be an environmental issue because it is one.

That just means she was a particularly cognizant child. Don't confuse a genuine desire to do good with uninformed naivety. That's a cynical outlook and even small good acts are worth while.

Ignore the subject matter of this video and it's near indistinguishable from ClickHole parody. It's just a woman eating set to guitar riffs, and then her hugging a chef. This is bad content, and what makes it worse is The AVClub should know better since ClickHole exists.

"Raw" diets and gluten free diets (if you do not have Celiac's) are both bullshit. They are anti-science, and grounded in nonsense. Vegetarianism and veganism are based in reality though as high carbon emissions and cruelty can both be linked to animal consumption (among other issues).

Elephants are among the smartest non-primates in existence.

Apparently you do. A lot of comments on this.

What? It's not an extremist point of view. It's not something like being anti-vaccine (which is objectively bullshit). It's an acknowledgement of the reality that animal consumption can be cut out of the majority of diets to end unnecessary suffering, and to reduce carbon emissions significantly.

That's well said. I hate how people who are so politically like minded with me on so many progressive issues have a massive blindspot with meat consumption.

Same!

It is absolutely a "man" issue. I mean, the music in this video alone emphasizes that with those ridiculous guitar riffs.

Everything about this is so over-the-top click bait that I almost think this is a joke. I mean, the music choices alone.

Yeah. Even ignoring the fact that I think the subject matter is kind of depressing, I expected better of this site to make such dumb click bait; especially when its sister site mercilessly mocks these videos on a daily basis.

I haven't eaten an animal since 1998. I wouldn't go back either. It just seems gross and morally bankrupt to me now after all these years.

I wouldn't do that. I asked you how they're partisan, but you were free to give an answer and I wouldn't have been rude to you. If anything, it's a little rude and presumptuous to say I'd take your words out of context.

I will lose my shit if someone tells me that Brienne and Tormund aren't the one true pairing of GoT.

There are a lot of shows where it'd be extremely difficult to divorce yourself from current events. It's ridiculous to try to parse some shows as partisan or non-partisan when just about everything worth watching has a message (otherwise it's just boring).

But they aren't. And what is and isn't "political" is kind of bullshit and nebulous in the Trump era. I mean, we are collectively dealing with a white nationalist movement on an epic scale. For example, the right wing asserts that the matter of transgendered people getting basic human dignity is a political issue,

How exactly are they politically charged, and even if they are, how is that bad? Art and media without any edge (be it political or whatever) is toothless and boring.

I'm not sure why you're telling us you skipped it but you missed out because it was good.

Anyone know what the song at the end was?
