Matt Selman always seems to up the quality, but this time he did it with the animation too. I really don't get why he's not the sole EP.
How is being serialized artistically weak? I think the opposite is true for a show like this.
I like how when the Netflix shows pretend to be very serious, a character will casually mention the zombie ninja attack or the alien attack.
I don't know if that's accurate or not, but the very fact that Marvel movies and Marvel television fucking hate each other doesn't make sense either, and yet it's true.
I'm having an Aleppo moment… Trying to think of one that isn't Moleman but I'm blanking. I'm confident there are some though.
That was a missed opportunity. Ruth has a speaking role in like two episodes and then is promptly forgotten. The show has always had a problem with how few female recurring characters the are, and that could've helped.
It's weird how few recurring characters have been introduced since season twelve or so (it's also weird how little of Springfield is female). I'm sure there's been about three or four, but the only I can think of off the top of my head is Chalmers' teenage daughter, and I can't even remember her name without googling…
I mean, complain about the quality of the show all you want, but don't act like loose continuity wasn't always the case. Characters can "die" in the show without actually dying, and that's been true nearly forever.
I liked it! Not sure where the hate comes from.
Didn't she just move in?
I feel the same way.
Hey Netcafix, thanks for upvoting so many of my comments years after this great show ended.

Was the working title of the show "The Melania Trump Story"?
Don't you see, the man who has literally said he'd use the US military to hunt down the children and spouses of (suspected) terrorists is actually a peacenik!
That was one of the greatest lines uttered on TV ever. George Lowe is amazing.
I'm still saddened by Croker's passing. He was a brilliant voice actor who gave a lot of depth to characters that should've, by all accounts, been one dimensional lava/mantis men.
I'm surprised most comments glossed over that. I looked it up, and I don't see much that actually backs that up as true online either. It sounds so baffling.
I really like the show but no one deserves to be tied to the Pfeffermans. It's pretty interesting that the show has so many flat out unappealing characters and yet I still watch and enjoy it.
