Um, as a Black Ivy Leaguer, I can tell you that when we apply to these companies, we get nowhere. There are LOTS of white and Asian ppl from San Jose State, Sacramento State, Santa Clara University, and other non-elite universities who get GREAT jobs at tech companies.

Your small tech company may literally only need engineers. What FB and other large companies ignore is that they don’t hire blacks or Latinos for the non-tech roles. Sales, BD, marketing, communications, supply chain, etc. There are actually plenty of qualified candidates. They won’t hire them.
