Not carbed, MPFI
I'm just doing my job
I'm not going to drive it. I ain't that dumb. If it actually does fire, then at least we have that. If it doesn't, I get my fifteen minutes of fame for visibly debunking this hokum
It all started way back in 1984. Back in those days, badges were all over the place. You couldn't swing a flaming Pinto without hitting a badge proclaiming some sort of new thing like EFI, ABS or DMC. Then Saab released their high performance variant, the SPG (US) / Aero (EU). It had no TURBO badges, no 16VALVE…
It's empty but there is a very suspicious white wire heading into the relay box, right underneath pos 5.
I'm gonna do it. As I don't know his setup, I can only glean from his wording that the intake hoses are open underneath the fuel, bubbling it and providing more saturation.
It helps that I have an intimate working knowledge of the 1992-1996 Dakota :)
Easily bypassed, yes. The little white wire going to the bottom of the relay box is a tell. That's not a factory wire there.
That truck wouldn't have run for that long with the pump inactive. I've depressurized my Dakota (same vintage, 5.2, but still) and it only idled for a second or two.
Oddly enough, the fuel pump relay slot - top left, number 5 in the picture below - is actually empty.
This can be expected when Windows 9 comes around. Unified platform for desktop, portable, mobile and console. It's also the reason why there won't be any "flagship" Windows Phone Mobile devices until 2015. They're already integrating Xbox One features into WP8.1 - "Hey Cortana" passive listening is coming with…
It chose me
As a Microsoft Systems Engineer, I both understand and do not understand at all
I will not be junking my phone good sir, and I take offense to that.
Lumia 920. I'll be replacing the glass/digitizer/LCD eventually, or I'll just keep living with it. And I do have quite a lot of experience working with small electronics ;). Or I'll just step down to an old 900 someone gave us, it's screen is still usable.
Apology accepted. We did not buy the car. Again, it was a mention.
Why 72 months? That was a mention of the lowest monthly payment they would offer. If we had $10k earmarked for a down payment, we'd consider that but a large amount of our financials right now are tied directly into rebuilding the savings we lived off of for three years and paying down that bad debt incurred during…
Yeah, I could put down $5,000+trade and incentives, and drive away in a $22k Kia on a 72 month loan for $485. Trying to convince me or even worse - the wife - that it's a good idea to spend over five hundo per month on a Forte, that's the hard part.
Who is this magical unicorn who has low/no savings, bad credit rating and pays his bills on time?
