I saw a red Yugo not unlike this one last week. It was "barreling" down the Boulder turnpike (read: really close to the speed limit) hauling a bunch of cargo. I think it was some plywood sheets on the top and various construction bits in the hatch. I was beside myself

Well that would explain it then :)

IIRC, Ford considered having something to say until MB showed that their E-class started in 1953 with ties back through the '30s. The "E-series" could only be traced to 1961 with the first Econoline COE van.

It's all about brand recognition. Whether or not the two items directly compete, each maker is allowed to protect their nameplates.

The Model 3 was originally the Model E, and was to be slotted between the Model S and the Model X.

Why is there a young Jason Alexander in this picture

Looks that way

¿Manuel?

Agreed.

Who hasn't?

Nope. Good old-fashioned American gallons, like grandma used to make. Maybe I'm an anomaly then? My SPG got me 34, the truck I can eke 22 on the highway. Our Focus, rated at 32 highway, gets us 32 highway. Was your '84 a 4 speed or automatic?

Suddenly the nurse is wondering which one of us is the husband

I'm a grown man, one phone in each hand (one for watching, one for commenting), sitting in the ER while my wife lays on the bed and has tests run

230hp, 300tq. The kicker is the sub-4000 lb weight and 3.55 gears

Lol their ratings are way off for older vehicles. My 1987 Saab, rated at 26 hwy, regularly netted me 34.

For reference, my 20 year old Dodge Dakota 5.2 4wd stick shift gets 19 mpg city.

I need this guy's art in my house

I've never once been offered a cocktail on a bus.

So, really, no.

Save the badge and some bumper/taillight treatments, is there really a difference?
