Who's to say the chassis is compromised? If Ford could design an independent rear axle as a direct, bolt-on, replacement for the live axles in the New Edge Mustangs (and they did), who's to day they can't do the same thing in reverse?

Most adblock programs do little more than change the IP address of the more well-known ad servers to 127.0.0.1 in your hosts file (or similar). This keeps them from loading at all because the website cannot find the file specified.
