Agreed. The 991 is a GT car. The 997 was the last Sports Car 911 Porsche made. I was in the market for either a 997 GTS or 991 S. I bought the 997 without looking back. You're so much more connected to the road with better feedback. And it arguably looks better from the rear.. more squat and less like an Aston.

The issue is the editing and 'forced drama' of US Top Gear. The cuts before commercial are so trite. Then after the break they explain for sometimes an ENTIRE full minute about what they were doing. Just get right back into it! It's amateur and mostly the fault of History's terrible production staff.
