GREAT indie movie. Worth it for the soundtrack alone.
Funny enough, the ‘molten pool of metal’ the T2 self-terminated in was actually a big pool of milk.
From Wisconsin. Can concur.
Meh, they only get view attribution and possible ad revenue if the video is player on native youtube and not embedded. I’ll take that trade off for the availability of great action.
For those people asking “Where am I supposed to drift then if I can’t do it at an HPDE?”
^^^^^ THIS!!! Take the money you would spend on a car and invest it. Then finance the car. Interest rates are so low right now that auto and home loans are basically free money given the inflation rate of 1.7-2%. (again, assuming you have good credit and can float the cash)
Besides the reputation loss as others have mentioned which would by itself cause him to fold, his insurance will also drop him and any new business insurer that would even take him as a client would charge exorbitant rates. Margins at auto shops are thin as it is. So, yeah, this guy better start applying for 9-5s…
I also think this is the best warning to people who own and brandish guns. Never pull your gun on a person unless you are prepared that killing that person is a possibility. If you wouldn’t pull the trigger, don’t pull your gun.
Sounds like the Navy should just join Dollar Ammo Club. 1st month of ammo is free! You can’t lose!
Haha. Well, I’m willing to bet my dad wasn’t always as calm as this day but I think he was also trying to set a good example in front of his kids. He has since told us he would have done the same if we weren’t there but sometimes I imagine what would have otherwise happened. Sounds like your dad at least maybe has…
tl:dr Oldsmobile driver smashes his car into ours in a rage and ends up whimpering in the end. St Christopher to the rescue.
Just give me a bucket and a cot please.
I hope they put a manual in it even if it isn’t the 911 Rs and it’s just a manual version of the current PDK. Hoping for the former. Either way, it still sounds like a vacuum. I hope that wasn’t with PSE ‘0n’.
It is though i did read maybe incorrectly that she was considering buying the 911S when she was simply driving it to drive it. Not saying she wont enjoy the car, just not understanding the argument for why she bought it. Cheers.
Just pointing out that it’s a bad argument to say that driving dynamics were the impetus for buying a 991 targa after driving an older 911S considering the options within the Carrera line.
wait wait wait. she passed up a car (i’m assuming based on it’s driving dynamics) and bought the worst handling (relatively speaking), heaviest and most expensive of all the 991 Carreras? Any credence is out the window on that argument. I mean she may have bought it for the fancy retracting top, brushed stainless…
It’s a women’s magazine talking about cars so that in itself is a step in the right direction.
Actually, the 911 will ‘come out’ better. It can get the power down earlier with the rear weight bias. Yes, I am being an a55.
You're equating unique with terrible. The NSX was unique. The 911 is unique. The Jeep Wrangler is unique. And those are icons.
