Can you get the V6 Grand Sport in the wagon version & AWD. That would make a good sleeper.

Why is everyone designing flying buttresses into their cars...its like the new IT design feature that needs to go into every performance car! You’re not cool if your car doesn’t have them.
How did they go to a 4 Valve Head?...the 964 (and for that matter all air-cooled porsche engines had 2 valves per cylinder). I think only the 962's and 959's had 4 valve heads but they were special water cooled heads.
My bad...the law was changed in 2001. Its been a while since I lived there...but prior to Sept 2001 you were able to drink while riding in the car.
Extraordinarily idiotic! FYI you can also drive a car with an open container in Texas and ride a motorcycle with no helmet. Claiming that a dune buggy, et al, is dangerous is such an oxymoron given everything else that is legal in Texas.
I’m pretty sure that Bush #1 started a war because Iraq invaded Kuwait.
Gasoline has an octane rating of 90~100 while Diesel fuel has a 15~25. So yes, diesel fuel will knock much more on the condition that the spark plug is able to ignite it.
That mechanic sounds sketchy to me. Putting diesel into a gasoline engine isn’t catastrophic. It will run piss poor and since the octane rating of diesel is much lower than gasoline, the engine will be constantly knocking. Putting gasoline in a diesel engine on the other hand could lead to some very high repair bills.…
Why is this article showing up at the top Jalopnik tab if its an article from 5 years ago. Mark Fields isn’t even working at Ford anymore. Get it together Jalopnik!
You can typically deduct a larger portion (if not all of) the lease payment for tax purposes on a business vs what you can if you purchase it. If you purchase a vehicle, you can only deduct based on a fixed maximum depreciation schedule which for must luxury cars is less than the lease rates. That’s why you see many…
Logistically it makes more sense to have Portland before Sonoma. Think about it, you have to transport the cars and all the equipment from St. Louis to Portland to Sonoma as opposed to St. Louis to Upstate NY to Portland. That’s driving across the entire US just to race at Watkins. I would have pushed Portland a week…
Can it be dragoned?
I would have guessed Siracha to be much higher. Especially higher than cholula or tapatio.
I’m pretty sure there is some sort of Tesla / Daimler partnership / agreement / investment in the background. If you’ve ever sat in a Model S, you’ll recognize a lot of the switch gear is from Mercedes vehicles. For instance, the Model S shifter is the same part as the one in my ML350. MB may have granted Tesla…
I’m pretty sure what you’re describing is the Atkinson cycle. The Miller cycle is when you combine the Atkinson cycle with a supercharger to drive more air into the cylinder while keeping the intake valve open on the upstroke of the compression stroke.
Traitors!! Joest Racing not running a Porsche or Audi is sacrilege!!!!!
My guess is if its Aston, it will be a rebadged Mercedes powerplant. Aston and Mercedes are already collaborating on their road / track car and Horner as already expressed interest in being a customer for Mercedes engines when trying to get out of his Renault deal.
DD would be stupid to not swoop in and take over the sponsorship of Suarez’s car. Would be a major marketing coup!!
CRACK-PIPE!! I love the GTI (I had an ‘87 myself) but at this price, this should really be the 16 valve version. $12k for the 8v with barely 100 hp is highway robbery.
