You can accomplish something similar using your regular phone lines / jacks. All of my phone jacks run to a central panel in the closet. Since typical phone lines are typically 4 pairs of twisted pairs, you can crimp ethernet rj45 connectors on it. I created a similar trunk line between the upstairs and downstairs…

For those that have an Apple TV, does it essentially operate like an ipad that’s plugged into a TV?  i.e. can you play all the games / apps that you normally have on an ipad / iphone?  Can you connect a bluetooth controller to it?  I guess my question is can you use it as a stripped out mac mini instead of buying a…
