What’s the consensus on the best wheel to use in Iracing? Suggestions? Thrustmaster or Logitech? Which one?

Kinda looks like Tavarish?

Yes but now your stuck with a firing order of 90 degrees for the 1st set of 8 cylinders and the rear cylinders also at 90 degrees with a phase difference (most likely set to 45 degrees) to the front set. Not optimal. You’d be better off with the crank throws at 45 degree intervals distributed across the entire 16 cyl

Because those were the only parts that weren’t off the shelf. It looks like they just took 2 LS or BBC engines and made a new block, crank, cam to make it one unit. I’m curious why there is such a space between the front 8 cyl and rear 8 cylinders. Its as if they didn’t want re-engineer it to have have even bore

Ford vs Ferrari....and not on the racetrack!

Does anyone else think the old R8 looks better than the new R8? Seriously, the previous version was timeless and still looks good. This one looks like a mid engine TT with a wing on the back.

AGV 4 LIFE! LOLZ.

The big rubber blocks on the back of 80’s 911’s in order to satisfy the 5mph bumper regulations. Funny story, my siberian husky thought they were chew toys and ate them off my dad’s 930.

Kind of hard to tell from the pictures but is this a true single seater or can you fit another seat for an instructor / student?

I’d rather have a manual CTS-V Wagon in brown.

Why the reward? I’m assuming whoever bought this has enough money for insurance.....unless maybe he has a couple of kilos of coke in the frunk that he wants to recover.

What’s going on here? Can they change the variable geometry inlets independently?

I think they put the CIWS back on it but its on the rear, overlooking the helipad. Doesn’t help if you have a missile coming from the front. Do they think they can shoot it down with the 5 incher?

Now playing

Lexus and Toyota had problems with the power steering system where it would shake violently if you jabbed the steering wheel when parked. It’s the weirdest thing. Like some very bad PID control. See the attached vid.

Looks like a bad photoshop at the back. Like they just took a pic of the crew cab F-150 and turned the bed into the rear area. The bottom of the glass probably lines up with the top of the existing bed in the photoshop.

Ironic that currently there are several LMP cars that use a flywheel for storing energy yet they had to keep an American brand down back in the day.

If you stalled a vehicle with Stop-Start that did not have Stall Recovery (like the one mentioned in the last section), you’d have to put the car in neutral, then depress the clutch, then the engine would fire, and then you could go back into gear and be on your merry way.

Is this a track only car or is it a street legal car with a valid VIN, emissions equipment, lights, etc that has all these extras added?

Who says you can’t package a V8 in the space of a V6. You can as long as its something that you want to do from the get-go. Glickenhaus was able to do it with his SCG003..using a Honda TT V6 (from the LMP program) for the N24 race but offering the roadgoing version with a V12. Plus the aero on the GT is different from
