They can keep the V6 in the race car, its a proven powerplant that has been racing for a while. I owuld do the same. Depends on the composite and layup. Carbon fiber is one of the best conductors of electricity, the resin and glass fiber not so much. As long as you can interface with the fibers themselves, you’re good.
