PC gamers are complaining about a game being “exclusive” to double-clicking a different icon on their desktop. Meanwhile console players have been dealing with this kind of actual exclusivity bullshit for decades now (and recently with Destiny 2, PC players are getting in on the fun!). Not saying that this has never

Schreier, I will always appreciate your deep-dives into the less glamorous sides of this hobby and the industry that supports it. While most of Kotaku’s articles are (and probably should be) focused on the games themselves, it’s incredibly important that we never lose sight of the human cost incurred in the production

The game that emerged from a six-and-a-half-year development cycle was the result of a number of difficult, complicated factors, ones that won’t be quite as easy to fix as Anthem’s loot drop rates or loading screens.

TLDR: EA is gonna close the shit out of Bioware.

I’ve been waiting for the Schreier breakdown of how this fell apart far more than the game itself.

The lineup sucks whether you want to hear it or not.  Playstation Plus used to be good.

I’m honestly a little shocked they didn’t start adding in an indie VR title on a cadence with the install base that platform currently has.  Excited to own both of these on my PS4 though!  (Always love a Game with Gold or PS Plus game that is multiplayer so you can bug your friends to play. ^_^)

Having PS+ pays for itself, but now that PS3 and Vita were phased out of the lineup, I dunno, it feels somewhat empty.

Not sure about the other person, but after shelling out roughly 120 usd for the first round and shedding roughly 90 % of friends playing the game during that time. I didn’t want to pay an additional $70 for forsaken + annual. Yes it is somewhat discounted now, but the money grubbing left a bad taste in my mouth and

And right on the heels of Fallout 76.

At this point I almost feel for you for having to cover this half baked turd.

Oh for fuck sake....

Every time I see Anthem get an update I hope...I really, really hope that this will be the one that gets things back on track...but every one so far has been more of the same. One step forward, two steps back.

I’ve done that dance for 5 goddamn years with Destiny, I’m not doing it again. I bought

This should be the only reply on this thread. It’s perfect.

I hope all these people find great new jobs with the added bonus of not working for EA anymore.

I recently took Amtrak for the first time returning home from central IL to east TX. It’s an 11-12 hour drive, a 4-6 hour flight with a connection (or a considerably larger ask for a friend on the other end to come pick me up in DFW), and a ~17-hour train ride. The train actually takes me right to the small town I

Let us know if you come up with one.

I actually used to really enjoy Amtrak along the Northeast Regional line (DC <-> Philly <-> NYC), because the stations are all in the heart of the city, making actual travel time comparable if not faster than getting to-and-from airports and flying.

I was trying to think of an Amtrak joke, but I couldn’t stay on track.

Sir, this is a Wendy’s.
