Joe Biden is our best bet. He's a car guy, and might be open to changing this statute.

He's the best bet.
They still make the Echo?
I wasn't alive in the 80s, so I wouldn't know. ;-)
Almost all the cars you named have the distinction of never being sold in the U.S. European small cars are a whole other ballgame. And it's because American, Korean, and Japanese small cars were so shitty and miserable that a lot of Americans still look down on small cars as a sign of poverty.
This is great work, but the Golf and its performance variants are better than ever. For many people, a Golf R may be more than enough.
Small cars have to be cheerful these days — unless it's a Nissan Versa.
This video is incredible.
Funny how everyone loves classic sports car proportions on old cars — E-Type, 300SL, any number of Ferraris — but recoil when they show up on new cars. In particular, anything from AMG.
Do they use snow tires for winter driving classes like this?
Well, that's why I initially said I'd just disregard the list.
I read the list. And those were two different thoughts. The R8 and GTR were absent from the initial post. They were silently added to quell the uproar developing in the comment section.
Those were different thoughts. That's why I said, "Not to mention..." And when I said he disregarded the GT, I meant he was disregarding its quality by placing it so high on the list, between mythical vehicles and future vehicles. My point is it's a better car than the placement on the list suggested.
Those were two different thoughts. I should have written, "the blatant disregard for the AMG GT's high quality."
Since you didn't even include several notable competitors, I'm gonna go ahead and disregard this list. Not to mention the blatent disregard for the AMG GT, which is being praised by critics around the world.
In NYC, they're fairly common.
I look forward to seeing the Blizzaks on yours.
I think it's not that extreme a design compared to both generations of the X6. The sheetmetal isn't very complex, and the front end is aggressive, consistent with other new Benzes, and pretty simple.
It makes sense. You (and I) are the target demo. They're trying to appeal to younger customers with this. I think they didn't go too crazy with the design. The front end is aggressive, but not too complex, and the rest follows that template. Also, I love the cream leather and carbon fiber contrast in the cabin.
I totally get your point, but the Turbo and Turbo S are technically the top level of 911 performance, at least until a turbocharged GT2 comes out. They may be heavier and softer, but the Turbos are stupid fast in a straight line and at tracks.
