It would be troubling if it were even remotely true, sure.

Ironically, I was 4 episodes into binge-watching Boston Legal from the beginning when this post was published. (They’ve shown some seriously weird lawyers on that show.)

He could be a very effective communicator in writing, but nearly non-verbal in speech. I’ve seen people who lean really heavily one way or the other.

The movement has had problems with transgender and bisexual members. Trans and bisexual people are very often erased from discussion, and thereby any action for their rights is stunted. As the article says, if this sentiment originated from the trans community, I think it would warrant more unpacking. As it is

There certainly are ways in which the goals of feminists/LGB people and T people are opposed or conflicting to some degree, but that isn’t a cause for severance. It’s a call for education and understanding on all sides.
