The internet has limitless resources for learning on every subject at every stage, and more and more is available every day. No disrespect to teachers, but I would take the internet over a public school education any day.

Wow.

Please explain on this Dr. Pepper floor technology.

Holy shit, it’s a joke. People who get offended by this kind of stuff need to lighten up and quit telling other people what to do.

Hire the best damn people to do the job, not for diversity quotas. This is common sense.

Are you serious?

“All Lives Matter” is not a refutation of the Black Lives Matter movement itself, it is a refutation of the choice to title the movement in a blatantly racially divisive way.

Wow.

Kind of irrelevant when you consider how widespread a fact of life slavery was back then across most of the world.

Can you not blame “men” for the actions of a few scumbags? Thanks.

I’m a fan of using the broadest possible interpretation of first amendment rights, but this bitch needs to rot in jail.

I’m glad they are suing, and I hope they win (far more than $100k), but that’s not enough. How has our society lost our way so badly that this situation would not result in criminal charges? Jail time would be the only thing approaching real justice.

Better hurry up and ban knives. Oh wait, that would be idiotic...

It isn’t Tesla’s fault that their technology is being misused.

Because one of them is white, and white people are not deserving of empathy when there are minorities around.

The parent of a new friend whom you have met a couple of times is still pretty much a stranger.

Nothing unfriendly or defensive about it, it really isn’t a stranger’s business whether or not you own a gun. And the fact that you would pass judgement on someone’s character for not readily answering that question (again, from a STRANGER) is quite unfortunate.

Well sure, but there are also plenty of gun owners who would (quite understandably) respond to that question from a stranger with a curt “That isn’t any of your business”.

Do you think that being asked that question by someone you don’t really know (I assume you’re asking pretty early-on in the friendship) would be extremely weird?
