Damn, that is fucking rough! I am sorry to hear that. Especially right after you did all that work to it. I wish you the best in finding something workable that wont cost a fortune. And that no one wrecks into your innocently parked car again. 

I finally pulled the trigger to replace my 16 year old car.. just not worth repairing it. On the bright side i was able to put in an order w/a dealer for a 2024 model at MSRP with no bullshit. Ill take it. 

My Xterra Pro4x get 15mpg and it sucks so bad. All these years later w/a new engine and this thing gets 1mpg better. Ridiculous

This is a great point - yeah, a quality MTB and a hitch for this Celica is probably the best call. 

Lol, as the owner of an Xterra Pro-4x its absolutely terrible on gas. Its a great car and it goes basically anywhere a Jeep or Toyota can go but itll get there using as much fuel as possible and itll beat you up getting there.

If someone is hell bent on getting a luxury suv and spending 75k i definitely think there are better options than a Cherokee. 

Lol, another dumb car. This was actually a good and revealing review in that this vehicle was just used as a commuter/family transport. So, like 2.5 tons of Jeep to just drive on highways and roads and get ~20mpg. Seems about right.

I live in the desert. I am 90 minutes from Moab and spend weeks of every year in the deserts of the CO/UT/NM/AZ. So, i am very, very familiar with what works and doesnt out here.
