Correct. I ask senior leadership every all hands for quantitative proof that RTO increases productivity and they cant cite a single actual thing to support it.

Dont forget that since this has sails it couldnt have a helicopter platform and so Bezos bought/built a second yacht that can support ‘copters to sail around and follow his first yacht.

eh, that mpg still sucks.

I enjoyed this article. I had to laugh at observed ~15mpgs though, jesus. Its 2023 and that should be better. My dinosaur of a 2015 Xterra gets ~17 when i am not towing.

Good for you! Driving a manual is a useful life skill to have in your toolkit. Now, teach your brother. :)

The Sienna is the better choice for the vast majority of ppl vs either the Sequoia or this dumb Highlander.

good point

Yeah, if we go full EV itll probably be Kia/Hyundai. Hybrid will probably be toyota. We have a legit 4x4 that makes the Subie fairly redundant. I just dont drive much so i am just hanging on to this car for as long as possible.

Battery tech is fine for me at this point in time. EVs are perfectly good at commuting. Its just that toyota/subaru dont hve any good offerings.

My wife and i are the perfect demo for subarus and i still drive a 2008 Outback and the toybaru EVs are not remotely on our radar. If we buy a hybrid to replace the outback than Toyota is at the top of the list but if were talking pure EV we are certainly going elsewhere w/our money.

Even here in CO i have never seen a solterra and i have only seen a single toyota brzzredfiue3w7834xx or whatever their stupidly named EV is.

Your comment was a nicer and better version of my comment. I should have seen yours first and just starred it. :)

Lol, fuck HD. 69 livewires, nice!

TX is indeed huge but youre most likely stopping for gas/snacks/bathroom break on those sorts of long drives too. When youre talking a 1000 mile journey and you add 10-15 minutes here or there on top of your usual stops it wont really affect your average miles per hour traveled all that much.

This EV would work just fine for you, actually.

I salute you, sir! You are the truest and realest of real americans.

exactly

Potato potato. Either way it seems firmly to be 300 miles or more and that is all anyone needs for daily life. Except for 98% of the posters o this forum who demand 600 mile range per tank of gas for all their Real American needs.

i love this! maybe ill see one down near telluride.
