This is fucking hideous but nice to see hybrids finally hitting this segment of vehicles.

Im sure youll be in line behind a bunch of Texans. :) I swear the San Juans are filled with more Texans than ppl from CO during the summer months.
Very nice! Those are good tires and will serve you nicely. Enjoy.
She is also an automotive writer that doesnt know how to drive a manual transmission. Assume nothing..
Steamboat is going to seem quite cold to you, a Texan. Its only about 6500 feet but consistently is one of the colder ski towns in the state. Bring insulated boots and lots of layers.
What the hell is that? I have never seen anything like it.
Yeah, i agree. But in theory this is a good idea and i am interested to see how it progresses and moves up/down the cost ladder of trailers.
I wonder if this and the Hummer EV will struggle in some of the more narrow drive throughs out there..
Considering the last time i was at my Nissan dealership i saw a last gen Frontier SV w/an 8k dealer markup ffs..this one is going to have many 10s of thousands of markups.
Well done!
Correct. Thats why the LC was always the tasteful choice for well off folks who dont want to immediately come across as aholes.
Keep digging!
lol, youre a moron
That and we also get a lot less snow than we once did. Even ppl who grow up here might not get a lot of experience anymore w/it unless they seek it out.
This is true and fair but i also work for a giant tech company and we fuck up a lot easier stuff than this all the time. Software is fiendishly difficult and complex at scale.
I know several ppl in Denver who have fancy Sprinter vans and they are front country ppl.. something like this is probably workable for them. Folks who stay on the interstates and camp where there is shore power..but for a wider audience id like to see at least 200 miles of range on something like this.
The thing is cars are not the future (if we want to hve a more habitable planet). A city filled with FSD EVs is still a city thats spewing particle emissions all over the fucking place and displacing pedestrians/cyclists.
No, i am not a monster. I mean i have been in Vernal, UT, where there are more gas stations per capita than ppl and left my 4x4 and trailer at the pump while i go inside but this is very rare and it was a holiday and at like 6am this past Thanksgiving.
I mean yeah if i am in town i am just filling up and leaving and it takes 5 minutes. If i am road tripping and/or towing my gas station stops are often 10-20 minutes. Get snacks, take the dog out so he can pee and stretch his legs, shift stuff around, get something out of the trailer, etc.
This is a good article and articulates why i bought a dedicated 4x4 and have a Subaru for my other vehicle. I can cover the largest amount of scenarios im likely to ever see with these two cars. Offroad, inclement weather, tow, car camp, road trip, etc.
