Yes, i keep going back and forth over whether or not to get a new DD and the Prime is, well, a Prime candidate. Seems very close to a true all around vehicle but same as you ive not been able to find one that isnt seeing significant price hikes.

I agree that they need to start somewhere and i am sure this will be a fine EV. Its just a bit underwhelming, imo. 

How is a Rav4 Prime not a much better car? If you live in a city 250 miles is plenty but for a 2022 model its pretty underwhelming, i think.

Out here in CO we see this in Glenwood Canyon right now. Every time it rains i70 will close there due to the Grizzly Gulch fire.

60k is too much for this car. Obviously ppl can buy what they want w/their own money but this is ridiculous, imo. Lots of other vehicles, including EVs id buy for this amount of money.

I find the design language of Tesla just fine. Its ok. Its aging well, imo. But it pales vs the Taycan.

Very much agree. If i had that sort of cash the Taycan cross turismo is the exact car i would buy as a daily driver. I love that car. 

Neutral: The Taycan is amazing, imo. I see one here in my little town pretty regularly and i stare at it every time it drives by. Its a very striking car in a way that no Tesla approaches.

exactly.. a small (by todays standards) 6 speed manual, lift/hatch back that will probably handle well, be good in the winter (especially with snow tires) and probably get decent MPGs. Seems like a solid daily driver w/a bit of fun on the side + Honda quality. Sounds good to me.

I had an early 90s gsr and it was my favorite car I’ve ever had. I think this new one looks cool and I might say fuck it and buy one for a fun dd type of car.
