Maybe its cause my most modern car is a 2015 Nissan but all this seems pointless and its fine that its not on this car. 

The problem is cost. I just finished electrifying my house but replacing my furnace with heat pumps and my water heater with a tankless and putting in an electric range and total cost was about 20k. Im lucky in that i can afford this but not many can.
