Right. My 4x4 has a 5k towing capacity and my little teardrop is 1400lb dry and gvwr of 2200 so still well within my vehicles capacity. 5k is a good figure for the vast majority of people.

Yes, agreed. Thankfully i live in the sticks and there is no such thing as rush hour but i used to put 100 miles a day on I25 through Denver and it was always a traffic jam for miles and miles. An auto would have been nicer there.

I did not know this! Thank you for the info. The only time ive driven a Lada was late 80s Amsterdam and it was just a complete hunk of junk. I can still remember trying to turn that thing w/o any power steering to navigate some of the small streets there and it was rough.
