I bought this exact car (in red) used in 1989. It was the single biggest POS i have ever owned and it was so bad that i have flatly refused to own another car from the Big 3 ever since.

shes not wrong though. You can rail against all you like but your bias is as one of the few ppl wringing the most out of their 4x4s all the time. You and the ppl you know who do that are a tiny, tiny percent of truck buyers.
Sounds about white
5th gear - Uber is the worst and per its own documents it can only become profitable if the only transit options on earth are Uber.
Well im convinced now that we should continue ICE production for eternity in the face of climate change. Good stuff.
Totally understand. After taking my outback to one too many places it should not have been and eating a big repair bill I finally bought a capable 4x4 and it's been really nice having a competent vehicle for the job.
Native of CO - this is true. Although i have seen some Subees get way the hell back up in the mountains. There are ppl who are far crazier and more skilled at driving than me..Id never take my Outback to some of these spots.
I mean this is fine. Lots of ppl rolling around Denver in Rubi’s and Raptors not doing anything more than driving on the highway to Vail.
Depends on the use case! For you or for me, not yet. For 10s of millions of people out there who just drive to work and the mall an EV is absolutely ready for prime time.
1000 miles as it seems per the ppl at this site that everyone has a 999 mile daily commute.
Its a big problem for you and your needs are in the what percentile? 95th? 98th? I dont know.. Im doing similar things as you and live in the middle of nowhere myself. An EV would be just fine as a DD for me.
Good summary! Im very excited for this and hope its excellent.
Sure, MR2s and S2000s are probably my favorite cars ive ever driven. I daily a 2008 Subaru so youre right that slow car slow is indeed not that much fun.
I mean..maybe? Slow car fast is pretty damn fun too, imo. 700hp cars that weigh 2.5 tons are just insane and not in a good way. Time to wrap that shit up.
Nah, there will be lots of EV fun and teh sun has to set on these sorts of ICE cars sooner than later.
Yeah, you are correct. I was mainly poking fun at the very insecure petro masculinity at work here. The correct number of HPs is b/n 300-350.
ha!
No, its cool, on this topic i am choosing to speak for everyone. Youre welcome
tbf the world will be just fine w/o 7-800 hp cars.
Its in the running for me purely down to cost/incentives and Chevy covering the L2 charger is nice.
