This is it, exactly. Im from Denver and there are a ton of well off young ppl who do crossfit and shit like that driving Sahara’s around cause of hte look/lifestyle signaling. Now, i live in far western CO and out here many of the Jeeps are living their best lives in the backcountry.

So i agree w/your last paragraph completely. All of us, basically daily, are breaking laws somewhere/somehow. Im a white, male, hetero guy who makes 6 figures and owns a house, so in effect im above a lot of this petty bullshit.

I put 250k miles on a 2002 sentra in 10 years and never did anything more than fluids/filters/brakes/tires. Thats the top for me, personally.

Neutral: thankfully ive worked from home for a few years and so nothing has changed for me. However, my gf is in a field where she works very closely with coworkers and clients and cant work from home and we decided that she just wont work until vaccinations are out there for all of us.
