I keep a shovel, traction boards, blankets, gaiters, snow shoes, microspikes in my roof top box during the winter. Serves me well for hiking or for getting stuck.

Yeah, i see your point better, thank you. And yes, its pretty fucking grim.

Yes, youre right that in the end its low range as very low HP vehicles w/the correct gearing can get up all sorts of stuff. But by their very nature Subees dont have a low range and so were stuck with what we got and that 2.5i NA engine is just a dog at altitude when trying to go slowly up something.

On the Hanlons Razor front i tend to lean towards both/and incompetence and maliciousness.

eh..sorta think youre mssing the forest for the trees. If that is going on its the least of the problems with Uber.

No doubt. I fully agree. However, Uber is even worse than Amazon. Capitalism is inherently exploitative but Uber just takes that to another level as its never intended to make money and literally has no way to make money. Its jsut a scam.

Again, Uber has always been and always will be a scam. Its literally unpossible for it to be profitable. Its merely a MLM scheme to make first investors rich and to launder Saudi/Softbank cash.

Yeah, we are kicking ourselves in the face, collectively, by these dumb immigration restrictions/rules. No doubt.

The problem with Subees (and i own one) is at altitude. I have a 4x4 as well for the tough stuff but sometimes i just take it even if the forest roads are in decent shape depending on the altitude out here in CO.

Another sure to be 70k daily driving truck.. Amazing. Looks great! Im sure itll sell like hotcakes.

lol, i work on the backbone of the internet and i am up right now actually doing stuff to help ones and zeroes make their way around my network a bit more efficiently.

fair

well put, agree all around.

Erik, i hope that your mom has a full and quick recovery. Im sorry she contracted it - 2020 sucks.

I work for a giant company with offices all over the country and internationally as well. Again, we have diverse teams but they are not in my particular arm of the cmpany. Ive been working in tech for 20+ years and the vast, vast, vast majority of my coworkers and managers have always been white guys.

excellent write up, thank you. Given where i live i expect to see more of the big Bronco’s but im sure these will be popular as well.

They are a pyramid scheme were the first VCs in have made 9 or 10 figures while the ppl who came after hve gotten hosed.

Lol, this is great for you and your team but not remotely true across the industry. I have friends who work at the big 5 and are part of mostly or all white teams. I mean if course there are diverse teams out there and there are some in my giant company as well.

Thats good to hear! I wish my company and tech in general were better at this.
