I feel like ive read this story a million times over the last few decades. Is anything like this working at scale or is this more vaporware? Maybe this will finally be the thing that does it but its hard to be optimistic.

I mean, yes, to a degree. Id amend your statement to younger educated whites are starting to peel off a bit. But my age and older white educated folks love htem some trump for the most part.

Sure, if i want to be more precise, and as i mentioned in another comment, lets use the word/term plurality when referring to whites generally while i think its safe to say that a significant majority of white men love the GOP/trump and will once again vote in overwhelming numbers for the GOP.

meh, lets be real: this behemoth of a SUV will basically NEVER be in the backcountry anyway. Itll be out here in the desert, where i live, and in rich ski towns and in downtown Denver/Houston/Dallas, those sorts of places.

very well said and i agree completely. We need to divorce the fact that in this country ICE vechicles/big trucks = masculinity and steer that towards EVs can also be cool/tough. 

I think this thing is a good idea - if ppl are going to be driving giant pigs of DDs at least make it an EV.
