We had Meat do a Cameo for my dad’s birthday. One of my brothers had us add “Your kids said to send nudes. And I’d do anything for love, but I won’t do that” to the suggestion box. Meat didn’t quite understand, and the result was really, really funny. This video is one of my prize possessions.

I can watch that scene on an endless loop. Not only does Tatum play out that epiphany perfectly. whoever added in the kitchen timer sound effect is a comedic genius.

And the scene when Ice Cube figures it out is also absolutely hysterical. 

The scene where Jenko figured out Schmidt slept with the Captain’s daughter is some of Channing Tatum’s best acting.

Can’t say I’ve listened to much of his music, but I am so impressed by how he’s built himself into this guy everyone likes over the years. He’s a vampiric goth rock star kinda thing, but intelligent, but also extremely nice, he plays golf, he isn’t problematic in the slightest, he just comes across as a good person.…

For many years Alice Cooper would make an annual appearance at this little haunted house in rural Michigan. I went a couple of times and tried to get autographs but he was always mobbed, even though he stayed for hours signing autographs.

What I’ve always liked about Alice Cooper is that he’s exactly how he described Elvis: down to earth and willing to make fun of himself. He’s just this ordinary guy who’s job happens to be outrageous and over the top. I always get a kick out of his telling of the infamous chicken incident.
