But it’s non-profit...so they can’t profit off it...and there is no way that those people running it wouldn’t just increase their salaries so that there was no profit. I mean, that wouldn’t be right, right?

The thing is, it was known before the Skylake MacBooks were released that they would be followed with Kaby Lake models in 2017. Apple had to go with Skylake because Kaby Lake wasn’t ready yet. I’m an IOS guy but not really a Mac guy (not a laptop guy at all, really) tho for whatever reason I actually knew about this…

Sure, but they needed to get on the Kaby Lake train and it’s not the kind of upgrade that’s worth dumping your skylake for. Now if they made it a touchscreen or something I could MAYBE see the anger.

Frankly, if a developer couldn’t be arsed for over two years to update their app, they no longer deserve to have it listed in the app store anyhow. Especially if it’s a paid app. So long as you’re taking money for it, you should keep it in a working condition.
